We can also assist with equipment that you did not purchase from us.
Maintenance of microscopes and optical instruments
Inscope Optical Instruments maintains all brands of optical microscopes and profile projectors. We perform this maintenance at your location in the Netherlands and Belgium. Your microscope does not need to be removed from your premises or sent to us.
Every maintenance service begins with a thorough inspection to identify any defects. We then clean the mechanical guides and apply new grease where necessary. We also clean the optical elements and adjust them if needed, so your instrument provides a clear and sharp image again. The length measuring devices we use for this purpose are calibrated.
As a dealer of well-known brands in microscopy, lighting, cameras, and software, we also advise you on options for adapting your instrument to your application. This includes suitable lighting, replacement parts, or a camera with software for capturing images and performing measurements.
Repair where possible, replace where necessary
A defect does not automatically mean your equipment needs to be replaced. We repair electronic equipment and circuit boards down to the component level and provide maintenance and repairs for measuring and testing equipment. A faulty power supply, worn connector, or outdated component can often be repaired or replaced. Thanks to our technical knowledge and supplier network, we also regularly find solutions for equipment that is no longer supported by the manufacturer.
We first assess whether a repair is technically and economically viable. You will receive a clear overview of the diagnosis, the expected lead time, and the costs. We only proceed after receiving your approval. We source the required parts through our own component purchasing service whenever possible. We keep commonly used parts in stock wherever possible to minimize unnecessary delays.
Preventive maintenance for continuity
Proper maintenance helps prevent unexpected downtime. Together with you, we develop a maintenance plan that aligns with how your equipment is used and its importance to your business operations. During a maintenance service, we check its operation, clean it where necessary, and replace wear-prone parts. We record our findings so that you can understand the condition of your equipment and know which maintenance is advisable for the coming period.
