These new objectives share the same super long working distance as the existing SLWD lenses, while removing the need to refocus when changing between magnifications. These new lenses are also designed for compatibility with turret rotation removing the need use the lens adapter provided with the previous SLWD objective lenses. This new range of lenses are also kitted with the lighting adaptors for Mantis Pixo and Ergo, so once the lenses are set in place there is no need to adjust lighting when changing magnifications. The longer working distance and steeper angle of illumination also means that lighting from the Mantis Pixo and Ergo systems will penetrate further down narrow bores and between fine pitch components.
